History
This 1914 Vest embodies by itself the history of Chapal House in its excellence.
It was for the first time manufactured in 1916, precisely in our factory in Crocq, for French airmen as part of the war effort.
The factory archives having disappeared in a fire in 1972, Jean-François Bardinon redesigned it as his ancestor Emile Chapal had imagined it.

This jacket represents the origin of the manufacture, the spirit and the know-how of our House.

Made of leather, with its wide flaps and sheepskin collar, it is belted at the waist and gives an incomparable aviator style.
This oversized jacket, which could be called a “wallet”, embraces and hugs your body.
