There is a famous saying among tailors that once you have tried a bespoke jacket, there is no way back to ready-to-wear.
The jacket is tailored around your body shape (or according to your measurements) providing unparalleled comfort and style.

Please pay a great attention to the accuracy of the measurements that we are requesting.

The ideal solution is to visit us in Jean-François Bardinon’s personal Parisian showroom to take your measurements.
But of course, we also offer to follow and help you from a distance.
Please carefully check the steps below.

1. CHOICE

To order a made-to-measure item, you first need to select your product from our collection. Choose an option - “BESPOKE” - confirm your shopping bag and proceed to payment with the ready-to-wear price. When your purchase has been registered, one of our personal shoppers will contact you to advise you on the next steps :

MADE-TO-MEASURE

2. REQUEST

When your purchase has been completed, you will receive an email with a form to fill in as well as a measurement chart. If you wish a very specific detail, please mention it into “Note”.

3. MEASUREMENT

Take 3 pictures of you : face, profile and back (wearing a t-shirt or a shirt). Fill in measurement infos as precise as possible. Send everything to info@chapal.fr.

4. ADDITIONAL COST

Depending on the demand, you will receive an estimation. An average cost for made-to-measure is around 1 000€.

5. CANVAS

If needed, a canvas can be made and sent to you for adjustments.

6. FITTING

Try your canvas. Write directly on the fabric your comments and adjustments you wish.
Take 3 pictures of you wearing the canvas : face, profile and back.

7. REALISATION

Your final product, made-to-measure, will then be produced by a single artisan who will be entirely in charge of its creation. She will sign the secret label with your name, by hand.

CREATION

CHAPAL offers an exclusive service to customize most of the items from the collection.
Choose the leather or fabrics, colors, stitching or even embroideries, patches…to create special outfits for rallies or events.

Jean-François Bardinon and his design studio team will follow and advise you in your project, for a unique and original experience.
