Last April, Maison CHAPAL co-hosted an intimate evening in New York,
gathering a select group of guests for a moment shaped by Parisian elegance and New York energy.
Set within the timeless interiors of this historic private club,
the evening unfolded as a natural extension of the House : discreet, warm and deeply rooted in a sense of place.

Around fifty guests came together, sharing wine and cheese boards, engaging in conversation
and discovering a curated selection of CHAPAL pieces.
More than a presentation, it was an opportunity to experience the materials, the craftsmanship and the spirit of the House.

The atmosphere was carried by live music, performed by Audrey Appleby and her band,
bringing jazz rhythm and French songs to the gathering.
At the heart of the evening, a joint address, presented by Terrance Cook,
with the special presence of Louise Bardinon, ninth generation of the House, offered insight into CHAPAL’s philosophy:
a vision of garments not simply as fashion but as objects designed to accompany a life.

Deeply rooted in French heritage, the House also shares a longstanding connection with New York,
dating back to 1882, when Emile Chapal established one of the largest fur tanneries in Brooklyn,
marking the beginning of a transatlantic story that continues today.

As conversations unfolded, guests moved naturally between discovery and exchange,
some engaging more closely with the pieces, others simply enjoying the atmosphere.
This evening reflected a way of presenting CHAPAL: through experience, through conversation and through time.
