History AE 1932 – VINTAGE
Amelia Earhart, also known as Lady Lindy, was one of America’s greatest female aviators.
In 1928, she became famous as the first woman to cross the Atlantic as a co-pilot, and most notably as a solo pilot in 1932.
Amelia Earhart was a beautiful woman who could either wear a flying overall, a short suede jacket or an evening gown by Irene Lentz. In any case, she did it with elegance and lovelyness.
As easy in a plane or in a lounge, Amelia Earhart disappeared on July 2nd, 1937 over Papua New Guinea during a non-stop world tour.
At the request of the Amelia Earhart Foundation, Chapal made a few replicas of the original aviator jacket she used to wear a lot during her frequent flights.
Today we present it under the name AE 1932.
