IN MEMORY OF JEAN-PAUL BELMONDO
CHAPAL will never forget his first visit at Jean-François Bardinon showroom.
Sitting in a big armchair, with his dog and his many rings on his fingers, he scrutinizes with his laughing eyes the aviator jacket collection: “Ah… we feel so good here!” He quickly spots the iconic A2 jacket and asks to try it on… Then he stands up proudly and declaims with a burst of laughter filling the large lounge: “But, where is my plane?”
His son Paul, always at his side, did us the honor of going through the history of his father’s films, through the documentary Belmondo par Belmondo, driving around the roads in a big Mustang and wearing CHAPAL jackets.
