History Trench

This trench coat is inspired by the history of military clothing, like many jackets and coats of the CHAPAL collection.
Invented at the end of the 19th century, it was particularly used during the First World War to face the constraints of trench warfare – hence its name.
It subsequently became a must-have in men’s and women’s wardrobes, particularly through multiple movie scenes, especially on Humphrey Bogart’s shoulders.
