PITTI UOMO – JANUARY 2025

CHAPAL once again flew to Florence to take part in the famous Pitti Uomo men’s fashion show, January 2025 edition.
During these few days, the House immersed visitors in its American roots.

CHAPAL’s history in the United States began in 1882 when Emile CHAPAL and his family crossed the Atlantic
to establish the company in Brooklyn, New-York, to become one of the largest fur manufacturers for almost a century.

Jean-François Bardinon, President and Artistic Director of CHAPAL, pays tribute to this American heritage
with a brand new edition of the legendary USAAF Flight Jacket: the Hudson Blue.

In dark blue glossy leather and a franco-American silk lining, this ultra-luxurious jacket, available in a limited series of thirty-two,
perfectly embodies the alliance between American heritage and French savoir-faire.

You could also find the USAAF Ascot’s Father, dressed in silk linings especially created
by Terrance Cook, President and Artistic Director of this young American brand.

Other emblematic models were also on show, such as the Chapalac, in four distinctive colours referring to the “Flower Power” 70’s.

Last but least, visitors were able to catch a glimpse of the new Vegetal collection, recently designed by Jean-François Bardinon:
two pieces in whipcord, two pieces in vegetal leather, with a slim fit, narrower shoulders and deeper armholes.

CHAPAL got a brilliant start by celebrating its American roots and French savoir-faire. With pieces such as the Hudson Blue
and the Vegetal collection, the House blends well tradition and innovation, confirming its status as a French luxury house.
