PIERRE BARDINON – 10 YEARS ALREADY
August 17th 2022 is a symbolic anniversary for CHAPAL : the 10th anniversary of the death of Pierre Bardinon,
the 7th generation, was commemorated.
A gentleman driver and collector, Pierre Bardinon left his mark on these great automotive years,
notably by creating the Mas du Clos circuit in 1963, reputed to be one of the best racing circuits in the world.
A true figure of the CHAPAL family, Pierre Bardinon undoubtedly strengthened the automotive influence
of the House, perpetuated by his successor, Jean-François Bardinon, through the Driving & Racing collection
and the presence of the House at the legendary car rallies.
The memories of CHAPAL days, punctuated by the roar of old engines
and meetings between enthusiasts sharing a nice glass of wine, remain with us.
