A bit of history…

Chapal USAAF jacket is inspired by the A2 model, one of the most popular flight jackets from the 1930s, originally made with horse, goat or cow hides. This emblematic garment has been the pride of a generation of aviators representing their involvement into heroic battles. The US Navy also created the M422A model, later called G1 for pilots. Both styles have been combined by Chapal to give birth to our USAAF jacket.
